A magic formula for a robust health

Health problems galore

In the modern world, there are lots of health problems. No one is able to say that he has no health problem. No one is able to say that he is not taking medicines prescribed by the doctor. Many people take these medicines lifelong. Many people lead an uncomfortable life style because of these persisting health problems.

100% health seems impossible

Can these health problems be prevented? Can one lead a life without any ailment? Can one totally avoid medicines? Can one totally avoid wearing spectacles? Can one enjoy sweets lifelong without diabetes problem?

The answer to these questions in the present age is an emphatic no. Ailments are part and parcel of life and one has to face it. One cannot avoid medicines. Spectacles have to be worn at some age or other. They cannot be avoided. Sweets can be taken as long as one is lucky not to get diabetes.

Siddha says yes

But there is a different answer in ancient Indian Siddha medicine. The answer is an emphatic yes to all the above questions. Sages practised this Siddha medicine and herbs were used to cure all ailments without side effects. But Siddha also suggests a formula to prevent all ailments. What is the magic formula? The formula prescribes doing an act repeatedly twice in periodic intervals. Four acts are prescribed. What are they? Let us see.

Passing stools

First, you have to do a thing twice a day. What is it? Passing stools is the one prescribed. You have to pass stools both in morning and evening. Easier said, than done. Many people have problems to pass stools even once, let alone twice. Others have constipation. Some others have piles. Even those who pass stools regularly in the morning (it is a good habit) find it difficult to do it in the evening. Moreover, many people are in their offices or business establishments and they try to control passing stools in the evening because of embarrassment it will create. Imagine, a serious Board meeting is taking place and the CMD excuses himself to pass stools. Imagine a semi final match between two super stars in Wimbledon Centre Court and one player excuses himself to pass stools. I can well understand. So, the habit cannot be formed by most of the people in the modern world.

Benefits of good bowel habit

This is the main reason one gets lots of diseases like digestion complaints, kidney failure, heart ailments, nervous breakdown, diabetes etc. As the accumulated waste is stored in the body till next day morning, it creates lot of trouble inside the body, which later builds on into diseases. A few people who pass stools twice a day – both morning and evening – lead a happy and healthy life. Their bodies do not store accumulated waste. Their bodies are always fresh. So they don’t contact any diseases.

Plenty of water and timely diet

How to pass stools twice a day? One has to drink plenty of water every day. One should take food exactly at the same time every day and at the same quantity. Minor variations now and then are no bar. But there should not be too much variation. One should do fast walking or running for at least half an hour daily. Exposure to sunlight will bring Vitamin D. One should avoid or reduce non vegetarian items, particularly red meat.

Keep skin and hair shining

Second thing is one should do an act twice a week. What is this

act? Taking oil bathe. One should rub one’s scalp with lots of oil, say coconut oil or any other suitable oil available. Then one should apply the oil all over his/her body also. Then take bathe by using shikakkai powder or ordinary mild soap. After the bathe, one will feel very fresh and energetic. Skin will become shiny and there will not be any skin problems. Hair will become silky. One’s beauty is enhanced. One’s eyesight will also improve and one need not have to wear any spectacles lifelong because of this habit. But in the modern day, no one follows this habit also. If one is interested to follow this habit, one has to do it twice a week with a few days gap in between, say on Wednesday and Saturday.

Importance of sexual intercourse

The third thing one has to do twice a month is sexual intercourse (of course with one’s spouse). This can be done once in a fortnight with a gap of at least one week in between. Happiness and health will come in life only if one enjoys one’s sex. If husband and wife are separated many miles apart because of job exigencies, they seldom meet and the body subconsciously longs for sex. Masturbation and extra marital sex cannot bring happiness in life. One will be doing these acts with a guilty conscience. Anything done in life with a guilty conscience will not only boomerang later in a different form, but also brings health problems. Mental tensions are the reasons behind many ailments. One should avoid cheating one’s spouse. To the extent possible, if the partners fulfil sex twice a month as prescribed by the ancient Indian sages with knowledge, then the tendency to go for extra marital sex will not arise at all. It will also invigorate body’s metabolism. All the inner parts of the body will be set fresh. Mind is also freed of all tensions. During sexual intercourse, body sheds calories.

Purge the waste through castor oil

The fourth act prescribed is consuming castor oil twice a year. Castor oil is a powerful purgative. It can act more powerfully than most modern medicines and can clean the intestines very well. For children, one drop of castor oil and for adults, two drops of castor oil mixed with milk should be given for consumption twice a year. The intestines will be thoroughly cleaned through loose motion. One should not exceed the prescribed limit, particularly in case of children, because excess castor oil can also dehydrate the body. During the cleaning process, one should consume plenty of water or better ‘electrol’ solution. The digestion mechanism will start fresh and all associated problems like constipation, irregular bowel habits etc will become a thing of the past.

But impossible to follow

If one follows all the four things meticulously, one can have hundred per cent health even in this modern world. But in a busy world, how many people can follow the prescription made by the ancient Indian sages? Very doubtful.
